Martin Luther King, Jr. 2018 Awardees

The Chester Valley Ministers’ Association presents the annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration Breakfast on Monday, January 15, at the Rock Hall Volunteer Fire Company. The Breakfast is $15 at the door, and begins at 7:00 a.m.

Taion Johnson, Grade 6, Alycia Wilson, Grade 7, and Fahren Bartley, Grade 8 – the Vincent Hynson Memorial Youth Awards given to Kent County Middle School students for their involvement and contributions to school and community activities (Sponsored by the Kent County Arts Council).





Kent County High School Senior, Aniya Jefferson, who will receive the Youth Humanitarian Award, presented for significant contributions to the quality of life in Kent County.







Members of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Breakfast Committee, Carolyn Brooks, Emerson Cotton, Principal Nick Keckley and Aniya Jefferson, award recipient, Rev. Mary Walker, Rev. Shelia Lomax, Irene Moore, Leslie Prince Raimond.
